Sweet little things

Sometimes it is just simple little things that are just simply the best. Last week it was frozen grapes! If you have never frozen grapes before try it. It is a healthy snack that tricks you into thinking its shaved ice, all in a neat little ball form. Anyway, this week we went on a road trip to Montezuma's Castle, the well and then we just went to Jerome. We had to make a few stops before we were on our way and I have been craving french fries. He stopped and McDonald's at 10 am. I told him they don't make fries until lunch, it is on the lunch menu. He stopped anyway and demanded that they make me fries because it says it in writing on the menu. I have to say, thank GOD I was not present and waited in the car. The girl behind the counter couldn't speak English and kept repeating, "hash, hash brown". So he surprised me with a breakfast sandwich instead. Almost the same as fries, wouldn't you say? ;) Hehe but it was super yummy. Once we got all our small stops in we were off. He says, I have a surprise for you. I LOVE surprises. He pulls out his Zune (equal to an ipod and much better) and the music begins to blast through the speakers. What was it..."I think we are alone now, doesn't seem to be anyone around", Tiffany and the rest of the bunch from the 80's! He downloaded tons of 80's music because he knows its my favorite (yes, I admit I am a HUGE 80's fan). We listened to it for hours as we drove and he didn't complain once. He just laughed every time my eyes lit up as another song popped up! Haha...I love simple things like this.

Cute, Erin! I didn't know you had a blog!! But now I do and I will be able to keep up a little more with you too. Thanks so much for your great comment and advice on mine. Who knows...maybe if I choose to move to Guaymas I'll be a lot closer to you and we can hang out. (I think it's only about a 5 or 6 hour bus ride from Guaymas to Tucson.) And I totally love 80's music too.
